I’m going into graphic design and use a lot of digital media, so I use photoshop a lot. Travel equally so. What would be better; a macbook air, or pro?

currently i am a pc user, my computer is a Acer and its pissing me off. its 2 yrs old and it has alot of problem. virus twice even w/ virus protection (?) and it constantly overheated (even with cooler pad) so im considering a macbook air… i think its called. but i dont know if i should since it does cost more.
i just wanna make sure the price isn’t too flashy for a computer that will have the same problems as the one i own.

i mostly used my computer for school and writting. i barely use it for anything else. (im a sophomore in high school)-just thought u’d like to know.
if pc’s are better what pc is the best? mine sucks what pc do u recommend that wont have THAT many problems?

Which should I choose? I travel from time to time, but I’ll mostly be using it inside at my house or a friends house. I have noticed that there is NO disc drive on a MacBook Air. I will have to make class presentations on DVDs. But I can’t decide which one to get.

I recently tried to start up my macbook air and everything went normal, it had the normal gray screen, the logo, and the moving circle thing but I sat and waited for about 25 minutes without anything happening (eventually my laptop ran out of battery and automatically switched off completely). It simply wouldn’t load. I tried everything from the apple site without success. I’d like to know if anyone here knows how to fix this problem before having to book an appointment at apples genius bar for the third time!! thanks…..

Hello, I am a sophomore in high school so i will use it for school work. I don’t play a lot of games but I am planning on playing diablo 3 when it comes out. i like to manage my itunes but only mess around with pictures a little bit. I think if i had the software besides in school i would a lot more though. All suggestions will be welcomed with a valid explanation of why you think so. Your inquiries are greatly appreciated. -Sean

I push it and it doesn’t respond, i tried using those air blowers for keyboards, and my mac is new, the 15 inch glare resistant version. The key has never worked.
