The ModBook is a 1.83GHz or 2GHz MacBook that’s been converted into a tablet computer–the first Mac offering of its kind. Macworld Senior News Editor Jonathan Seff got his hands on a preproduction model and made a quick video with Assistant Editor Brian Chen that shows the tablet in action.

It also doesn’t work on my roomate’s macbook air. But I have a friend who went on it on his macbook the other day and it worked. It used to work for both me and my roomate. Any ideas?

I push it and it doesn’t respond, i tried using those air blowers for keyboards, and my mac is new, the 15 inch glare resistant version. The key has never worked.

So I’m buying a refurbished laptop.
I keep hearing this stuff about how the new one doesn’t has a better processor and iLife and iSight and etc. What are all of those? I know they have ‘09 editions, but could you upgrade from one edition (‘06) to another? And the newest software is called Snow Leopard or something right? How much does it roughly cost to jump from one software to the other (I know it’s different from older to newer softwares)…. ahhh this is so confusing!
I just want a Mac that has all the features as my friends’ ones. I don’t want to be missing out on anything by getting a refurbished one.
After all my blabbering, I am basically asking you…. what are the must have softwares/processors/features on your MacBook to have the best experience? And how can you upgrade from one software/feature to another? And what do the ‘09 MacBooks (not macbook pro/air) have that the previous one does not?
I know this is a lot to explain to someone whose tottaly clueless, like my self, so thank so so so so much in advance!!!
