The Apple mac family has published its different series of Macs: Mac Pro, Mac mini, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac. For most Mac users, they often meet thefollowing problem: they happens to have a lot of windows media files in WMV format. Some people may simply just want to watch the videos with his iMac or MacBook. Other people may have further purpose: for example, people who are fond of editing will need to import WMV to iMovie to edit on iMac/MacBook/MacBook Pro.

Three application are provided to solve the above mentioned problem. For the first problem, you are advised to download 2 free and fabulous multimedia player: VLC Media player and Flip4Mac. When referring to the other two problems, you will have to depend on a shareware WMV Video Converter Mac to help you to convert WMV to MOV ,MPEG, MP4 on your iMac or MacBook to import to your iMovie.

How to convert WMV to MOV, MPEG, MP4 for iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro?

1.Download and install WMV Video Converter Mac on your iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro.

2.Import WMV videos.

Click “Add” on the top left panel and select the WMV videos you would like to convert. You can load multiple videos at the same time under the batch conversion mode.

3.Select the output format and the output path.

Select the output format from the “Profile” drop-down menu and specify a destination on your computer to save the output videos.

 4.Apply video effect.

You can crop the videos size to remove the unwanted blacksides in the frame or type the specified value directly in the brackets.

5.Start conversion.

Click “Convert” on the right bottom, then you can convert WMV to MOV, MPEG, MP4 to import to your iMovie.

I am getting a MacBook soon, and I can’t decide which one! I’m deciding between the new aluminin one or the white one. Some people have told me to get a MacBook Air, some have said to get an iMac. Please help!!

OK, I have a mac. My mom has a mac exept its a laptop. Basicly what happend was she got this new sewing machine that lets you make your own designs on the computer. She found out that it had to be for a windows… so she got this 250 dollar windows vista thingy (that you put in to your computer to download the windows desktop to you mac) so she could do her sewing but she has a macbook air. the airs wont lets you put in a disk so she had to use my imac. i now want to move over to the windows desktop on my mac but i dont know how. Can some one help? thanks!
