Apple MacBook Air

I bought an HTC Fuze a couple of days ago but when i connect it to my computer the program or whatever doesn’t appear in my computer, i have looked for it but all i want to do is import pictures… does anyone know what i have to do? ohh and btw, i have a MacBook Air. (:
