Open Question: What gives me a bigger improvement? SSD or a new laptop?
My computer has a 11″screen, c2d 1.06ghz processor, 2gb DDR2 RAM and a 4200 RPM hard drive. I get read/write speeds of 24 and 21MB/s.
I am actually in a market for a 2nd laptop as backup. And I would like to know if its better to buy a SSD for my current laptop and then a cheap netbook? Or get small and light laptop (like a macbook air or lenovo x200) that’s better then what I have right now.
Both options are actually very expensive but I want to gain performance instead of losing and both laptops needs to be small and light too.
